Program Goals and Instruction: The goals of all our leagues/camps are to help each athlete improve their basketball skills by providing solid fundamentals. Each camp will be staffed by the high school coaching staff, as well as current players.

• Smaller basketballs and lower baskets will be used for Purple League (K & 1st graders)
• Each participant will receive a t-shirt

PURPLE LEAGUE

Grades: Kindergarten & 1st

Description: The PURPLE LEAGUE will be an introduction to basketball. There will be a portion of each day spent on instruction & the remaining time will be game play (1-on-1, 2-on-2, and 3-on-3). Teams will be assigned weekly to give kids multiple opportunities to meet others and foster their love for the game while learning!

GOLD LEAGUE

Grades: 2nd, 3rd, & 4th

Description: The GOLD LEAGUE will offer fundamental skills as well as game play. Teams will be assigned and games played weekly. Focus will be placed on the fundamentals of the game, while introducing team offensive & defensive concepts to players within our Deforest Basketball program.
